Starters:

Mozzarella Tomato and Avocado Salad (v)

Dressed baby salad with mozzarella, ripe avocado and vine tomato finished with fresh basil oil

Feta and Olive Greek Salad (v)

Freshly tossed salad of baby leaves, olives, feta cheese, anchovies and croutons finished with freshly chopped herbs

Smoked Salmon and Smoked Fish Parfait

Flaked local smoked fish blended with crème fraiche, fresh chives and lemon wrapped in smoked salmon and presented with endive and paprika

Smoked Chicken Bacon and Sweetcorn Velouté

Homemade cream soup of smoked chicken bacon and sweetcorn finished with pesto.

Fresh Fish and Shell Fish Chowder

Homemade soup full of fresh seafood, vegetables and lentils finished with cream and water biscuits.

Smoked Haddock and Fennel Seed Fish Cake

Homemade fish cake of local smoked haddock and fennel seeds served with a baby salad and curry mayonnaise.

Salmon Jalousie

Flakes of fresh salmon, mushroom bound with egg and rice baked in crisp puff pastry and served from the oven with tarragon hollandaise (Available as a vegetarian starter with mushroom).

Crispy Bacon and Egg Florentine

Crisp puff pastry cooked with creamy spinach topped with a poached egg, crisp bacon strips and our rich cheese sauce. (Available as a vegetarian starter without bacon).

Gruyere Chestnut Mushroom and Spinach Pancake (v)

Home made pancake filled with chestnut mushrooms and fresh spinach topped with gruyere. (Available as a vegetarian main course)

Garlic Mushroom and Goats Cheese Brioche (v)

Soft butter brioche topped fresh mushroom duxelle, baked with goats cheese and presented on tossed salad leaves.

Main Courses:

Fillet of Sea Bass with a Pernod Fresh Leek Cream

Seared fillet of sea bass presented from the pan on a bed of saffron mashed potato and finished with fine cut baby leeks cooked with pernod and cream.

Steamed Fresh Herb Salmon Hollandaise

Fresh fillet of salmon steamed with fresh herbs served with crisp mixed vegetables and saffron potatoes finished with a lime zest enhanced hollandaise

Fresh Pea and Golden Crumb Crusted Halibut Fillet 

Prime halibut boneless steak baked with a fresh pea puree and golden crumb crust served with roasted vine cherry tomato and parmentier potatoes finished with a balsamic glaze

Tarragon Chicken with Butter Sauce

Breast of chicken sautéed with our fresh tarragon crumb served on fondant potato and finished with Kenya beans and hollandaise sauce.

Summer Vegetable Chicken with Parmesan Crackling

Breast of chicken steamed with fresh herbs and summer vegetables served with parmesan and crunchy bacon savoury potato and finished with a fresh mint dressing.

Creamy Paprika and Brandy Chicken

Plump breast of chicken gentle cooked with paprika brandy and cream served with spinach and finished with herb potatoes.

Whisky and Pimento Pork with Fresh Chive Potato Cake

Sautéed pork medallions with a whisky, pimento and cream served with chive potato and asparagus.

Confit Duck with Parsnip Hash and Peppercorn Gravy

Braised confit of duck served from the oven on a parsnip and potato hash finished with a sharp peppercorn gravy and roasted vegetables

Roasted Sirloin with Chive & Onion Mash

Prime roasted sirloin of beef served on an onion and chive mashed potato finished with a sharp peppercorn gravy, summer green vegetables and stuffed tomato.

Rack of Lamb with Vegetable and Chorizo Gazpacho

Prime rack roasted with spiced sausage and rosemary served from the oven on a bed of savoury potatoes and finished with home made vegetable gazpacho

Desserts:

Pear and Blackcurrant Filo Strudel

Homemade individual strudel filled with fresh pear and blackcurrants served from the oven and finished with cream.

Hot Apple Pancakes with Calvados Sauce

Homemade pancakes filled with fresh apple and confectioner’s custard sugar glazed and served with calvados sauce

Raspberry Meringue Gratin

Soft sponge and raspberries set in fresh vanilla custard and baked with a soft meringue topping.

Black Cherry and Almond Tart

Homemade tart of almond sponge and black cherries served warm with crème fraiche.

Baked American Cheesecake

Rich baked vanilla cheesecake finished with a sharp raspberry coulis.

Strawberry Raspberry and Crème Fraîche Pavlova

Homemade strawberry meringue filled with raspberry and crème fraîche and presented on a sharp raspberry coulis.

Tia Maria Parfait with Coffee, Chocolate and Nut Biscuits

Homemade iced cream flavoured with classic Tia Maria liqueur topped with coffee foam and served with a chocolate and roasted nut biscuit. 

Profiteroles with Rich Chocolate Sauce

Classic dessert of home made choux pastry filled with cream and finished with our homemade rich chocolate sauce.

Lemon and Strawberry Panna Cotta

Homemade lightly set lemon cream finished with strawberry.

Rich Chocolate and Raspberry Torte

Homemade rich chocolate torte finished with sharp raspberry coulis
